Summer Singers provides an opportunity for singers entering grades 6-9 to develop vocal technique and musicianship skills in a fun, fast-paced and challenging choral ensemble setting. The program welcomes singers with treble, unchanged voices at all levels of experience. In addition to the full ensemble and sectional rehearsals, the daily schedule includes interactive experiences with music reading, movement, drama, and drumming. Orientation will take place Sunday afternoon, June 4. The program culminates in public performances in the School of Music’s Weigel Auditorium (Friday), and on the main stage at the Columbus Arts Festival (Saturday).
